I think it’s interesting that there are so many words to describe a wonderful female phenomenon, which is not even spoken about in many circles in today’s society, or if it is, it’s often talked about in hushed tones with a sense of embarrassment. Fortunately it appears that at least in some cultures, historically and in the present day, a more enlightened, and less repressed approach has been taken towards acknowledging and celebrating the natural wonder of female physiology that is female ejaculation.

So I thought I’d share with you this list I came across (no, not literally!) sourced from ‘The Secrets of Great G-Spot Orgasms and Female ejaculation’ by Tristan Taormino. Some of them are just so beautiful, I’m thinking of trying to incorporate at least one a day into everyday conversation…or perhaps I should try and contain myself just a little bit…

Female ejaculation: Squirting, gushing, vaginal ejaculation, vajacultion, Geyser of love (Dr Susan Block), and my personal favourite – wet orgasm.

Ejaculatory fluid: Amrita (India), Liquor vitae (ancient Rome), Girl jizz, Girl Juice, Nectare of Aphrodite (ancient Greece), Semen of women (Karma Sutra), and The third water (China).

Perhaps it’s time for contemporary society to take a leaf out of Taormino’s book, and stop the hushed tones, and embrace the beauty instead.

If anyone knows of any terms that haven’t been included here, please let me know, so I can add them to my ever expanding vocabulary!
